Cambridge University Economics Essay Competition WINNER
Well done to Rory (Upper Sixth) on winning a Cambridge University Economics Essay Competition run by the CSEP (Cambridge Society for Economic Pluralism). Rory wrote a superb essay addressing the statement ‘The Neoliberal Age is Over - Discuss with Reference to the Resurgence of State Intervention’.
Rory’s essay is superbly crafted and looks at the development and decline of Neo Liberalism, reaching well informed conclusions on the state of Neoliberal Economics and Governments’ Economic Policies.
By way of feedback for Rory, the CSEP noted: “The competition was tough, and we have received a number of essay entries of exceedingly good quality. As the winner of a competition with strong entrants, you should be proud of your achievement! Professor Charles Brendon greatly enjoyed reading your essay and chose it as the best one”.
The School is delighted to receive this news, and we are proud of Rory's outstanding achievement.
