OWA President marks the beginning of the festive season at WHSB
Now a well-established tradition each year at WHSB, a glorious Norwegian Fir Christmas tree is presented by the Old Westcliffian Association to our entire School Community, marking the beginning of the festive season.
On Friday 6 December, we welcomed Mr Terry Birdseye, OWA President, back to the School for the formal presentation. The donation of a tree by members of the School’s alumni community first took place during the Pandemic and now heralds the start of our seasonal events within the School.
We are grateful to members of our alumni community for all they contribute towards the life of the School throughout the year. From participating in careers events to giving talks to students as part of our Sixth Form Lecture Series, we are delighted to welcome Old Westcliffians back to the School. The benefits for our current pupils are immense, enhancing the educational and extracurricular provision we offer.
